Aloe Tented Camp

Tented accommodation nestled into the surrounding bushveld offers a haven to de-stress and reconnect with yourself and your loved ones.

This child-friendly camp has 3 comfortable tents and a thatched cottage, sleeping a total of 26 persons. They all have their own shower/toilet/basin nearby. A central natural rock pool with deck and braai area, open plan kitchen, lapa and pub area offer a spacious and relaxing camp. Marvel at the vistas of never-ending stars and savour the calls of the wild on your doorstep.

Rates 2026

  • R450 per person per night
  • Children 6-13 years @ R250 per child per night
  • Minimum charge for the tents of R3000 per night for 6 persons or less.
  • A 50% deposit is required to secure a booking
  • The deposit is non-refundable should the booking be cancelled less than 14 days prior to arrival.

  • Fully equipped for self-catering.
  • Solar power supply in use and gas geysers and stove.

Important

  • No toasters, hairdryers or microwave are supplied due to limited solar power.
  • Puzzles, some games and dartboard (bring own darts) supplied.
  • No quad bikes, motorbikes or pets allowed.
  • Our water supply is from a nearby spring and borehole, so the water may be somewhat discoloured after rains.
  • Pool clarity is sometimes affected by natural forces beyond our control, such as rainfall and dust storms.
  • We have rainwater tanks as well, but please bring your own bottled water should you feel the need to.
  • The accommodation is let out as ONE unit to ONE group, so minimum rates apply for smaller groups.

Deer Cottage

This quaint renovated farm cottage, dates back to the 1890’s. Deer cottage is a comfortable and tranquil getaway for Flora and Fauna enthusiasts, with a resident herd of tame Axis Deer. The cottage has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a cozy lounge with inside fireplace, and a kitchen, and is fully equipped for self-catering. An outside braai area with plunge pool and jungle gym looks down through the beautiful valley below.

  • Children 6-13 years @ R250 per child per night
  • 5 years and under no charge
  • Minimum charge for the cottage @ R2700 per night for 6 or less people
  • A 50% deposit is required to secure a booking

Intaba Lodge

This scenic mountain top guest lodge offers quality accommodation in a rugged environment. The thatched lodge has 4 bedrooms en-suite and a 1-bedroom log cabin with bathroom and lounge area. Fully equipped for self-catering, one can enjoy cozy winter log fires in the Lapa or Lodge, or cool off in summer in the cliff-edge plunge pool. Panoramic wrap around views, stunning sunsets and abundant game viewing makes the Lodge a highly desirable option. The Lodge is let out as one unit and is only accessible with a low range 4×4 vehicle.
